Donna has been a partner of a public accounting firm for over 30 years. Known regionally for her experience in tax planning, Donna is sought after for her knowledge and expertise in a wide range of tax matters. She currently serves as a member of the State Tax Section Committee of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
Dedicated to quality client service, Donna is meticulous in handling client work. She strives to stay abreast of the latest in tax changes to provide the best tax advice. She is innovative and bold in her business practices. We are one of the few firms that dedicate the fall of every year to develop specific tax strategies for our clients who need this valuable service.
In 2011, Donna participated in "Top 25 Women to Watch: Florida's Entrepreneurial Leaders 2011" survey conducted by Florida International University's (FIU) Center for Leadership in the College of Business Administration. The study examines the challenges, behaviors, and characteristics of a sample of established female entrepreneurs across the state of Florida to determine the underlying causes for differences in business size and expansion. Understanding the different paths and stumbling blocks of entrepreneurs and their potentially different approaches to business success and growth will provide opportunities for the development of interventions and solutions to assist entrepreneurs who want to expand their businesses.
Between firm demands and tax season, Donna enjoys working with younger generations. In the past, she coached youth basketball and volleyball, and taught grade school religious classes at her church. She currently is a Board Member for Pensacola State College.
